Free Family Fun this October

October 13th, 2011

Over the next few weeks, there are a lot of free family activities offered both locally, and in San Diego. I have been to all three of the locations listed below with my family and hope that you are able to take advantage of them.  Art, creativity, and nature awaits you!  Below each description is a flyer with more information.  Enjoy! -Mrs. McFadden

Lux Art Institute is hosting a free family day on Saturday, October 15th from 11am-3pm.  My husband and I took our daughter to a similar event at Lux a few months back.  Her artwork is now displayed in our house.  They offer quality art supplies as well helpful staff to assist you and your family.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!

August 13th, 2011

Welcome!

We are so thrilled to be teaching 4th grade and honored to be your teachers at Park Dale Lane Elementary School.  We are confident, prepared, and motivated to pass on our passion for education to your child.  Our goal is to build a positive classroom community where each child feels both valued and safe.  We strive to meet the individual learning needs of all students so that each child reaches his/her full potential.  Our ideal choice for teaching focuses on the engagement of students through active participation in an interactive environment.   We hope to make school as fun as possible to instill a love of learning within our students. Please look around and leave a comment. (Click on the “comment” link below and type a message.) We will be using this blog to communicate and learn throughout the year. We’ll see you on Monday, August 15th.
